Binwise is useful for both communities and developers. For communities, it promotes responsible waste segregation, reduces landfill burden, and rewards citizens for eco-friendly actions. Municipalities can save costs and gain real-time insights into waste patterns. For developers, this open-source project demonstrates how AI, gamification, and dashboards can be combined to build civic-tech solutions, which they can learn from, extend, or adapt to their own projects.
