CityWatch is an advanced AI-powered urban surveillance and women's safety platform designed to make cities smarter and safer. It combines real-time computer vision with interactive safe navigation to address critical safety challenges.
Key Features:
- Real-Time Threat Detection: Uses YOLOv8 AI to instantly detect weapons (knives, guns) and falls from CCTV feeds with <200ms latency.
- SafeRoute Navigation: A specialized map for women's safety in Nagpur that calculates the safest path based on patrol frequency, CCTV coverage, and historical incident data, rather than just the shortest distance.
- Instant Alerts: Automatically sends photo alerts with GPS coordinates to authorities via Telegram bots the moment a threat is detected.
- Privacy-First: Processes video locally using GPU acceleration, ensuring no private footage is uploaded to the cloud unnecessarily.
CityWatch bridges the gap between passive surveillance and active safety, providing a comprehensive shield for modern urban environments.
