Our project aims to simplify and automate compliance checking by bridging the gap between policy documents and enterprise data. Today, most compliance rules are written in long, unstructured PDF documents, while actual business data lives in structured databases. This disconnect forces compliance teams to rely on manual interpretation and checks, which are time-consuming, error-prone, and difficult to scale.

The goal of our solution is to automatically convert policy text into enforceable rules and apply them directly to organizational data. The system identifies records that violate these rules and clearly explains why a violation occurred by referencing the exact policy clause involved. By doing so, we help compliance officers, auditors, and risk teams detect issues faster, improve transparency, and make compliance decisions with confidence.

Ultimately, the project focuses on making compliance more efficient, explainable, and audit-ready through automation.
