Culture Compass AI is a GenAI-powered cultural travel companion that reimagines how people discover and experience destinations.
Traditional trip planning is fragmented across maps, search engines, blogs, food guides, translators, budget tools, and itinerary planners. Culture Compass transforms this into a single intent-driven experience. A traveler simply provides their destination, dates, budget, interests, travel style, language, and accessibility preferences, and Google Gemini 2.5 Flash generates a personalized cultural journey.
The platform combines intelligent day-by-day itineraries, interactive maps, hidden-gem discovery, authentic local cuisine, heritage storytelling, local events, cultural etiquette, safety guidance, budget intelligence, useful language phrases, packing assistance, and AI-generated travel journals.
Its flagship feature, ChronoLens AI, takes cultural discovery beyond geography by allowing travelers to explore destinations through different historical eras, revealing how their architecture, food, traditions, people, and stories evolved through time.
Built with React, Vite, FastAPI, Python, Pydantic, Leaflet/OpenStreetMap, and Google Gemini 2.5 Flash, Culture Compass uses structured GenAI output to transform AI intelligence directly into interactive maps, timelines, cultural guides, budget visualizations, and storytelling experiences.
