DataDictAI is an open-source, LLM-agnostic platform built on FastAPI, React, LangChain, and Docker that auto-connects to major enterprise databases (Snowflake, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL) to generate AI-powered, plain-English schema summaries. It ensures your documentation remains perpetually current via incremental syncing of only changed objects, while running real-time data quality profiling with automated trend alerts. Finally, it exports version-controlled JSON and Markdown docs and features a conversational NL-to-SQL chat, allowing users to instantly translate natural language into SQL with zero coding knowledge.
