DayGuard – AI Real-World Action Agent

DayGuard is an AI-powered real-world action agent that combines real-time information with personalized user context to understand situations, make decisions, and take useful actions automatically.
The agent analyzes relevant information from Gmail, Notion, and OpenWeather, reasons about how real-world conditions may affect the user's plans, and conditionally takes action through Notion, Slack, and Resend.
For example, if a user has an important meeting, commutes by bike, and heavy rain is expected, DayGuard can identify the potential risk, create a preparation task in Notion, send a Slack notification, and send a detailed email.
Unlike a traditional application that simply calls APIs, DayGuard uses an agentic workflow with LangGraph to select tools, evaluate intermediate results, make situation-based decisions, and execute only the actions that are necessary.
The MVP focuses on weather-aware daily planning, with future scope including travel assistance, emergency preparedness, workday planning, location-aware assistance, and enterprise employee workflows.
