Developers today are part of dozens of fragmented platforms—GitHub, LinkedIn, Commudle, GDGs, Discord, college clubs, hackathons, and event portals. Each has its own login, its own notifications, and its own identity format. Because of this fragmentation, developers often miss opportunities, fail to track their own contributions, struggle to network efficiently, and never build a unified picture of their journey. Communities face the same issue: they operate in silos, unaware of overlapping audiences, complementary skills, or collaboration opportunities.
We built this project to fix the ecosystem at its root.
Our solution introduces DevPass, a universal developer identity system that gives every user a single DevID. It auto-generates a floating, rotating digital ID card with QR, barcode, unique ID number, and a portable reputation layer. This DevPass becomes a verified, living record of the developer’s journey—events attended, hackathons participated in, contributions made, skills built, and communities engaged with. It removes the need for separate portfolios, resumes, and manual tracking. It is a Tech Janam Kundli that updates itself.
To solve real-world networking, we built Hyperlocal Swarm Mode, a real-time radar that activates whenever developers gather physically. It reveals nearby devs, skill heatmaps, micro-meetups, and instant collaboration requests—transforming conferences, hackathons, metros, cafés, and campuses into live networking zones.
For online discovery, Orbit Match recommends developers who complement your skills or share your goals, helping teams form effortlessly.
Finally, the 2D Solar System Home Screen creates an interactive, galaxy-themed interface that brings the entire platform to life.
This project is useful because it unifies identity, strengthens communities, enhances discovery, and turns both digital and physical environments into opportunity-rich spaces. It bridges disconnected developer worlds into one powerful, collaborative ecosystem—something the tech community needs now more than ever.
