Our project focuses on solving the problem of missed medications, especially among elderly and chronic disease patients. Many people forget to take medicines or stop them due to side effects or busy routines. Existing reminder apps mostly rely on alarms, which are easy to ignore. Our solution goes beyond reminders by requiring users to confirm whether a medicine is taken, snoozed, or missed.
Each action is logged to build an accurate medication adherence record over time. When doses are repeatedly missed, the system flags this as a risk and notifies caregivers. This helps caregivers and family members intervene early instead of reacting after health worsens.
The app is designed with an elderly-first approach, using large buttons, simple navigation, and minimal interactions. Our goal is not to provide medical advice, but to ensure accountability and visibility in medication routines. Overall, the project aims to improve health outcomes, reduce hospital visits, and support both patients and caregivers through better adherence tracking.
