FinBuddy is an AI-powered mobile self-checkout and merchant-growth platform designed for offline retail and local kirana stores, bridging customer convenience with intelligent store operations. Its primary purpose is to eliminate checkout queues while transforming everyday retail transactions into a real-time business intelligence pipeline for non-technical shop owners without manual bookkeeping. Shoppers scan a store QR code to launch a mobile cashier, scan barcodes with their phone camera, modify carts using natural Hindi or English voice commands, and pay seamlessly via Paytm with instant digital and WhatsApp receipts. Each checkout instantly updates inventory and feeds a voice-first conversational AI Copilot, achieving the core goal of directly answering "what is happening in my store, and what should I do next?" through proactive low-stock alerts, peak-hour demand insights, and practical restocking recommendations grounded in deterministic store data.
