JanSevak Voice is an AI-powered civic call center that lets citizens report everyday civic problems — broken streetlights, potholes, water supply issues, uncollected garbage — simply by talking, over a phone call, in plain English. No portals, no forms, no knowing which department to contact.
The citizen calls, describes the problem naturally, and the AI agent asks only for whatever's missing — location, district, duration — while retaining context, handling corrections, and allowing barge-in mid-sentence. Once the details are confirmed, the agent files a real complaint through a backend tool call and reports back an actual complaint ID — or, if registration fails, says so honestly instead of pretending it worked.
Built on Agora's Conversational AI Engine (ASR → LLM → TTS) with an MCP-based tool layer for complaint creation, status lookup, and human escalation, JanSevak proves a complete voice-native civic service loop: call → understand → clarify → confirm → register → report outcome. The goal is to make government services accessible to citizens who struggle with digital portals — starting in English, with Hindi and other Indic languages on the roadmap next.
