Our solution "LifeFlow" is a mobile application designed to help connect people in urgent need of blood with their prospective donor, which might be an individual, blood bank or a hospital. Donors can post their details (blood group, age, sex and medical history) and their locations, they can directly register on the app, or the blood bank / hospital they donate to will post their details based on their consent. The recipients can browse through the donors and based on their locations and medical history, select a donor. If no donor is found at that instance, we will notify the user whenever there is a prospective match, we also notify a frequent donor for help in case there is a medical emergency in their nearby location. Organizations that conduct blood donation drives can register on our app, so that we can notify frequent donors living nearby.

Google Maps API aids in location-based services. We will manage data using MySQL or MongoDB for structured, flexible, and real-time data needs. FastAPI powers our backend for its high performance and asynchronous capabilities. Messaging queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis ensure reliable email delivery, with Redis also serving as a caching mechanism. Security and validation are strengthened using Solidity, while Git enables collaborative version control. Docker containerization streamlines deployment and scalability. Together, these technologies form a comprehensive stack aimed at developing a user-centric blood donation platform poised to make a meaningful impact. We are using Solidity to register smart contracts on a block chain that can be used to verify all the transactions that previously occurred.
