AI/ML Application
The core feature of PlantPal is its AI-powered plant identification and disease diagnosis. The AI model will:
- Use image recognition to identify plant species from user-uploaded photos.
- Detect symptoms such as yellowing leaves, fungal spots, or wilting, providing diagnostic results in real-time.
- Offer recommendations to solve the diagnosed issues, including adjusting water levels, sunlight exposure, or using fungicides.
- Transfer learning will be used to train the model on new plant species, ensuring PlantPal can scale and identify a growing variety of plants.
Technologies:
TensorFlow for AI-powered plant identification and symptom diagnosis.
Using image processing tools like OpenCV to analyze plant health based on visual symptoms like yellowing leaves or fungal infections.
