SecureX

Our project, SecureXpert, aims to confront the vulnerabilities present in devices. With numerous ports on computer devices running various programs, many companies disable Windows Defender for legal or security purposes and use their own antivirus software, leaving their laptops susceptible to hackers exploiting these ports. Additionally, older generation laptops, commonly used by individuals with limited technical knowledge such as kids and senior citizens, often lack built-in Windows Defender protection. This situation allows ethical hackers to exploit these unprotected ports, potentially gaining complete control over the device. Our solution involves developing an application that provides users with a simple virtual device scan, empowering them to safeguard their devices effortlessly. Furthermore, our platform will educate users about cybersecurity, a crucial topic in today's digital landscape, aimed at reducing the prevalence of scams resulting from small security oversights.
