SentinelAI is an AI-powered personal safety agent designed to provide fast, intelligent, and proactive emergency assistance when every second matters. Unlike conventional safety applications that primarily wait for a user to manually trigger an SOS, SentinelAI is designed around multiple emergency signals and intelligent decision-making.
The platform brings together shake-based emergency detection, voice-triggered SOS, location services, trusted contacts, safety-status monitoring, instant emergency actions, and downloadable incident reports into one unified safety ecosystem. A user can trigger assistance through natural and accessible interactions, reducing dependence on navigating through an application during a stressful situation.
The key innovation is our AI-agent approach. Instead of treating every trigger as an isolated event, SentinelAI is designed to combine contextual signals and assess the situation before determining the appropriate response. This creates a path from a simple “SOS button” to an intelligent safety agent capable of understanding context, reducing unnecessary alerts, and initiating the right emergency workflow.
Our prototype demonstrates the core safety experience through a responsive web application optimized for smartphones, with the architecture designed for future integration of richer sensor data, AI-based risk prediction, automated communication, and continuous contextual monitoring. Following an emergency, SentinelAI also generates a structured incident report containing relevant emergency information and allows it to be downloaded for documentation and future reference.
SentinelAI is not just about detecting emergencies — it is about building technology that can act when the user cannot.
