The Virtual Tour of BBAU Campus App is an interactive application designed to provide an immersive, 360° virtual exploration of the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) Satellite Center, Amethi, UP, India. The application aims to help students, faculty, and visitors navigate the campus remotely, enhancing accessibility and engagement.
This project leverages 360° images captured using the mobile phone and integrates them into an interactive web-based and mobile-friendly platform. Users can navigate the campus through a sequential line-by-line connection of panoramic images, moving between key locations such as academic buildings, classrooms, hostel buildings, the library, and administrative offices. The app will feature clickable hotspots, allowing users to transition smoothly from one location to another with informational pop-ups describing each area.
Built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and open-source libraries like Pannellum or A-Frame, the application ensures a responsive and user-friendly experience. The project’s objective is to provide a real-time visualization of the university environment, benefiting prospective students, faculty, and visitors by giving them a realistic preview of the campus before physically visiting.
This initiative aligns with modern technological trends in education and campus navigation, making information more accessible and engaging. Future improvements may include VR headset compatibility, AI-driven voice guidance, and an interactive chatbot for real-time assistance.
