Community Highlights: DevFest Siliguri 2024

DevFest Siliguri 2024 was an unforgettable milestone and a key highlight of the year for GDG Siliguri! This flagship event brought together the thriving tech communities of North Bengal, Sikkim, and our nearest country, Nepal under one roof.

Key Achievements:

800+ Registrations and 300+ Attendees
8 Inspiring Speakers and 20 Dedicated Volunteers
5 Passionate Organizers

We also made remarkable progress in community growth and sustainability:
45% increase in female attendees
35% community growth—1,100+ members on Commudle and 700+ on the GDG platform (Bevy)
A 30% greener event, with eco-friendly materials and zero food wasted

Looking Ahead

We are aiming for 60% growth in our community by 2025, with plans to expand our reach further across North Bengal, Sikkim, and Nepal.
