Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Python Developer to join our Data Security team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, cloud-based API hosting, and building secure internal tools to enhance our organization’s security posture. This role focuses on creating innovative tools, automating security processes, and integrating APIs to support our internal security operations. Key Responsibilities 1. Develop Internal Security Tools: a. Design and implement robust Python-based applications and tools to enhance data security and process automation. b. Collaborate with the security team to understand tool requirements and functionality. 2. API Integration and Hosting: a. Develop and manage secure APIs for internal use. b. Host and maintain APIs on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP,etc.) with a focus on scalability, performance, and security. 3. Cloud-Based Development: a. Utilize cloud infrastructure to deploy and manage tools. b. Ensure secure deployment using best practices in IAM, network security, and encryption. 4. Collaboration and Innovation: a. Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, DevOps, and Data Security to identify and address challenges. b. Research and integrate the latest security technologies and solutions into development practices. 5. Documentation and Support: a. Write clear and concise technical documentation for developed tools and systems. b. Provide ongoing support and improvements for deployed tools. Qualifications Required: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 2. 3+yearsofprofessional Python development experience. 3. Strong experience with API development, integration, and hosting on cloud platforms. 4. Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP). 5. Familiarity with security concepts such as encryption, secure authentication, and access control. 6. Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) for deploying applications. 7. Understanding of CI/CDpipelines and their implementation. 8. Knowledge of RESTful API design and practices on frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django
