Machine Learning Engineer

1. End-to-End Data Pipeline Development The intern will be responsible for using Core Python (and libraries like Pandas/NumPy) to design and maintain scripts that extract, clean, and preprocess raw data. They must ensure that the data flowing into your machine learning models is high-quality, normalized, and ready for training. 2. ML Model Implementation & Evaluation They will build and deploy core Machine Learning models—ranging from supervised learning (regression/classification) to clustering—depending on the project needs. A major part of this is not just "running a model," but rigorously evaluating performance metrics and tuning hyperparameters to ensure the output is reliable. 3. Insight Visualization & Business Intelligence Unlike a traditional ML engineer, this person will act as the bridge to leadership. They’ll use Power BI and other analytics tools to transform complex model results into interactive, intuitive dashboards. Their goal is to make sure the "black box" of ML produces insights that the rest of the team can actually use to make decisions. 4. Statistical Analysis & Trend Discovery Beyond just building models, they will apply analytics tools to perform deep-dive exploratory data analysis (EDA). This involves identifying hidden trends, anomalies, or correlations in your datasets that might influence future product features or business strategies. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration With a Teamwork Mindset, the intern will collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They need to participate in sprint planning or brainstorming sessions, translating technical ML limitations into clear communication for the team while being receptive to feedback on UI/UX in their dashboards.
