CTO ( Chief Technical Officer )

We are seeking an exceptional CTO/Project Lead to join our social media app startup. As a CTO, you will be responsible for leading the development of our product in alignment with our vision and goals. This is a full-time position that requires a passion for technology, a deep understanding of software development, and excellent leadership skills. Key responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to): 1. Develop a recruitment strategy for the tech team to ensure we hire top talent. 2. Collaborate with UI/UX developers to ensure our product's look and feel aligns with our brand and user experience. 3. Design and develop the MVP for our core product, ensuring the product meets the highest standards of quality. 4. Iterate rapidly and test first-version prototypes by collecting client feedback to ensure the product is aligned with user needs. 5. Make critical architecture decisions that ensure a strong, stable, and scalable product that meets our business needs. 6. Build out our tech stack with the latest technologies and tools to drive innovation. 7. Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency. 8. Build quality assurance and data protection processes to ensure data security and privacy. 9. Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance. 10. Work with the engineering team to increase their expertise and understanding of best development practices. The ideal candidate will have: 1. Experience working in an early-stage successful tech start-up, preferably in the social media or consumer-facing industry. 2. A strong product sense and the ability to build engaging tech for customers. 3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct technological analyses and research. 4. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to share/collaborate with peers. 5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 6. Leadership and organizational abilities to manage and motivate a team of engineers and developers. 7. A BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus. 8. A commitment and dedication to the project and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
