QuickTunnel is a lightweight VS Code extension that brings one-click Cloudflare Quick Tunnels directly to your development environment—no account, no API keys, and no config files required.
Why I built it: Every time I needed to test local changes on a mobile device, share a work-in-progress with a teammate, or test local webhooks, the standard workflow required opening a terminal, remembering the exact cloudflared command, waiting for output, and manually copying the URL. QuickTunnel eliminates this friction entirely by integrating zero-config tunneling right into the VS Code status bar and sidebar.
How it is useful for others: It allows developers to instantly expose local servers to the public internet with a single click. Features like automatic port detection, instant clipboard copying, a built-in QR code generator for mobile testing, and automatic .env file updates make local development and prototyping significantly faster.
