Problem Statement – Open Innovation (Market-Ready Solutions):
- Theme: Open Innovation
- Participants are free to choose any domain or problem area, but the focus must be on designing a project or product that is market viable and can be sold or deployed in real-world scenarios.
- Your solution should:
- Solve a real-life problem
- Have clear user value
- Be technically feasible
- Be scalable and sustainable
- Show potential as a startup or business idea
- Whether it’s in AI, FinTech, HealthTech, EdTech, Sustainability, Smart Cities, or Social Impact, your project should aim to bridge the gap between innovation and entrepreneurship.
- This hackathon encourages participants to think beyond coding and build solutions that people would actually use and pay for.
Stage 1: PPT Submission Round (Via Unstop):
- The first step begins with a PPT submission round through Unstop.
- Each team will submit a presentation explaining:
- The problem they are solving
- Their proposed solution and innovation
- Target users and market relevance
- Technical approach and tools
- Business or monetization potential
- Expected impact and future scope
- This round evaluates your vision, creativity, clarity, and feasibility.
- Only the most innovative and promising teams will be shortlisted for the Online Round.
Stage 2: Online Round (15th February):
- Shortlisted teams will advance to the Online Round on 15th February, where excitement intensifies.
- In this round, teams will:
- Present and defend their ideas online
- Receive guidance and feedback from mentors
- Demonstrate technical planning and execution strategy
- Improve their concepts based on expert suggestions
- This round tests how well your idea can evolve and adapt.
- From here, only the best-performing teams will qualify for the Offline Finale.
Stage 3: Offline Grand Finale At IILM University (23rd–24th February):
- The final stage will be hosted at IILM University on 23rd and 24th February, bringing together the brightest teams for a two-day offline hackathon.
- Finalist teams will:
- Build their working prototypes in real time
- Collaborate with mentors and fellow innovators
- Participate in technical sessions and activities
- Pitch their final products to an expert jury
- This is where ideas become tangible products and innovation turns into reality.
