Concurrently, Python-based ML models process billions of transactions to establish behavioral baselines, velocity thresholds, and device fingerprints—enabling fraud detection from the very first transaction. A graph analytics layer links device metadata, geolocation, and account behavior to catch coordinated fraud attempts beyond traditional models. Built using Fabric’s compute fabrics, Dataflows, and containerized microservices, this architecture delivers sub-second latency and seamless scalability. It integrates with CI/CD pipelines for audit-ready compliance and real-time streaming into Fabric dashboards for monitoring and alerts. Vivek Sharma is an accomplished Software Development Manager with over 18 years of experience delivering complex, high-scale software solutions across cloud infrastructure, payments, fraud detection, and platform services. Vivek currently serves as a Software Development Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Seattle, WA, where he leads a team building highly scalable products for EC2 VPC. In this role, he drives critical go/no-go decisions, oversees global rollouts, and manages multi-year roadmap planning, KPIs, and reliability metrics for platforms impacting millions of EC2 customers worldwide. Previously, at Amazon, he managed engineering teams in Alexa and Payments Risk Engineering where he spearheaded improvements in voice-based product discovery using an artificial intelligence-based tech stack, built experimentation frameworks, and led payments fraud evaluation services across Amazon’s infrastructure. Before Amazon, Vivek worked at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer 2, where he contributed to cloud security and supply chain products, designed real-time streaming architectures, and implemented key features in the open-source Win UI framework.
