Who we are
Smart ABES Hackathon (SAH) 2.0 is a large-scale, engineering-focused technical hackathon jointly organized by ABES ACM Student Chapter, ABES ACM-W Student Chapter, SSCBS ACM Student Chapter, and GGSIPU USICT ACM Student Chapter. Inspired by the Smart India Hackathon model, SAH is designed to bridge the gap between Data Structures and Algorithms and real-world project development.
The primary objective of SAH 2.0 is to encourage participants to build functional, real-world systems whose internal performance, scalability, or intelligence is meaningfully improved through algorithmic reasoning. The emphasis is on depth, technical clarity, and justified engineering decisions rather than surface-level implementations.
The 2026 edition features innovation tracks in AI and Data Optimization, Blockchain and Decentralized Technologies, and Defense, with problem statements sourced from industry and institutional partners. SAH 2.0 is positioned as a serious platform for applied innovation, ethical evaluation, and meaningful industry engagement.
