Lucknow AI Labs invites you to join our upcoming Paper Reading Session, where we will explore and discuss the research paper:

“A Survey of AI Agent Protocols”

As AI systems evolve, AI agents are becoming increasingly capable of interacting, collaborating, and performing complex tasks. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of AI agent protocols, the mechanisms that enable agents to communicate, coordinate, and work together effectively.

During this session, we will explore:

• What AI agents and agent protocols are
• Different communication frameworks used by AI agents
• Key design challenges in multi-agent systems
• Emerging standards and future directions in agent ecosystems

The session will focus on breaking down complex ideas into understandable concepts, making it valuable for students, developers, and AI enthusiasts interested in understanding the foundations of modern agent-based AI systems.

Whether you're new to research papers or already exploring AI agents, this session is designed to encourage learning, discussion, and curiosity within the community.

📅 Date: Sunday
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 Format: Community Paper Reading & Discussion

Come join us as we explore research together and deepen our understanding of emerging AI technologies.

You just walked us through the context-oriented vs inter-agent distinction. In your understanding, which side of this classification is more mature right now — the agent-to-tool protocols like MCP, or the agent-to-agent ones like A2A and ACP? And why do you think one is ahead of the other?

So we have Google's A2A and IBM's ACP — both solving agent-to-agent communication but with different approaches. which one would you lean towards?

In a multi-agent system, where does the boundary lie between A2A (coordination) and A2UI (interaction)? Can an agent use A2A to delegate a task to another agent, which then uses A2UI to talk to user

How can I begin with creating my first research paper? I don't know the exact process although I do understand gaps after reading some papers.
