SORTING IN C++

Sorting is the process of putting data in order; either numerically or alphabetically. It is often necessary to arrange the elements in an array in numerical order from highest to lowest values (descending order) or vice versa (ascending order).

There are various types of sorting :

• Bubble Sort
• Selection Sort
• Insertion Sort
• Merge Sort
• Quick Sort
• Counting Sort
• Radix Sort
• Bucket Sort
• Heap Sort
• Shell Sort

And There are two types of searches :

• Linear Search
• Binary Search

We will be seeing some of the important sorting and searches in this Lab.
