The Customizer

Here are the steps to customize your WordPress theme using the theme customizer:

All Customizer Settings

  1. General Setting:
The first section in the theme customizer is "General Setting". Here, you can upload a site logo, change the site title and tagline, and set a site icon(favicon).

  2. Colors:
The "Colors" section allows you to customize the color scheme of your website. Depending on the theme you are using, you can change the background color, link color, button color, and more.

  3. Header & Navigation:
The "Header" section allows you to customize the header of your website. You can upload a custom header image or choose a header text and background color along with navigation.

  4. Menus:
The "Menus" section allows you to create and customize menus for your website. You can add pages, categories, and custom links to your menu.

  5. Widgets:
The "Widgets" section allows you to add and customize widgets to your website. Depending on the theme you are using, you can add widgets to the sidebar, footer, and other widget areas.

  6. Homepage Settings:
The "Homepage Settings" section allows you to customize the homepage of your website. Depending on the theme you are using, you can choose to display a static page or your latest posts on the homepage.

  7. Additional CSS:
The "Additional CSS" section allows you to add custom CSS code to your website. This can be useful for making minor design tweaks or overriding default theme styles.

Once you have made the necessary changes to your theme using the theme customizer, click "Publish" to save your changes. Your website will now be using the customized theme.

I hope this step-by-step method helps you understand how to install, activate, and customize WordPress themes using the theme customizer.
