A current detector based on magnetic fields is a device used to detect the presence and magnitude of electric current in a conductor by measuring the magnetic field generated around it. This concept is based on Ampère's Law, which states that an electric current generates a surrounding magnetic field, whose direction can be determined using the right-hand rule.
