Join us for the upcoming PyDelhi April BoF Meetup on April 25th!
This month, we’re hosting a Birds of a Feather (BoF) gathering. A BoF is an informal, participant-driven meetup where participants drive the conversation. Whether you're deep into Python, exploring open source, or just curious, this is a space to connect, share, and learn together. For reference, you may find our previous BoF event in October 2025 here: https://www.commudle.com/communities/pydelhi/events/pydelhi-october-bof
What to expect
- Open discussions on Python, open source, and anything tech
- Participant-led conversations: bring your ideas, questions, and experiences
- Networking with developers, engineers, contributors, and learners
- Good food and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere
Who is this for?
Anyone interested in Python and technology! Whether you're a professional, student, hobbyist, or just getting started, if you enjoy thoughtful tech conversations, this BoF is for you.
🗣️ Call for Proposals (CFP)
Even though this is a BoF-style meetup, we’re still inviting short, informal session ideas to help spark discussions in advance, to help us prepare our community space. If you have something to share, such as a project, a question, a concept, or an experience, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re especially interested in Python-focused topics such as:
- Core Python concepts and advanced language features
- CPython internals and performance optimisation
- Python for data science, AI, and machine learning
- Async Python, concurrency, and parallelism
- Building CLIs and developer tools in Python
- Testing, debugging, and code quality in Python projects
- Packaging, dependency management, and distribution (pip, wheels, etc.)
- Python in production: infrastructure, DevOps, and observability
- Web development with Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.)
- Automation, scripting, and productivity workflows
- Security practices in Python applications
- Open source Python projects and contributions
You can also propose your own topic! See below:
Submit a BoF proposal
Please use our submission form and fill the questionnaire at https://github.com/pydelhi/talks/issues/new?template=talk-proposal.yaml --> please choose "BoF" for the "What format do you have in mind?" question.
Come join us to share ideas, exchange knowledge, and be part of a vibrant and welcoming Python community in New Delhi!
