Listing the Costs and Preventive Meassures

The last page/slide of our case study contains the description of what was the cost incurred by the attacked company or corporation and what are the preventive tactics one should follow to prepare their systems for future attacks. The cost that we are talking about is not limited just to the financial losses but also the loss of business and trust of the customers.

Depending on when the cyberattack occurred, if it's a recent attack, there may be limited information about the cost to that company or organization. Hence, here I have just mentioned 3 points under the cost section.

However, if the data breach was in the past, you should be able to see a series of different costs that resulted over the years including litigation cost, the potential cost to pay out for credit card information that was obtained by the attackers. 

As per the Prevention strategy, there can be thousands of steps that an organisation can and should take to prevent any future attacks. So you have to be very careful while choosing the prevention tactics for your case study so that only the ones relevant to this particular category of attack are listed.
