I am currently working as an Associate Engineer at Forbes Marshall, which is a leading manufacturing company specializing in products like boilers, steam traps, and flow meters. My key role revolves around working with private IoT gateways. These gateways are designed to collect real-time data from various industrial products and equipment manufactured by the company. Once the data is collected, it is processed and transmitted to the cloud for further analysis. This data is then used for monitoring system performance, predictive maintenance, and improving overall efficiency. I work closely on the software side of these IoT gateways, ensuring reliable data acquisition, processing, and secure cloud communication.
