As a Cybersecurity Intern at Acmegrade, I gained hands-on experience in ethical hacking, network security, and vulnerability assessment. Throughout the internship, I worked on various cybersecurity concepts, including footprinting, penetration testing, and exploit development. I honed my skills in Linux, Metasploit, Wireshark, and OpenCV while working on practical projects that simulated real-world cybersecurity challenges. Projects Completed: 1. Footprinting & Windows XP Hacking Using Metasploit Conducted reconnaissance using WHOIS lookup, nslookup, and Nmap to gather information about the target system. Exploited vulnerabilities in Windows XP using Metasploit’s msfvenom to create payloads. Gained remote access through reverse shell attacks, demonstrating ethical hacking techniques for penetration testing. 2. Web Application Security & SQL Injection Testing Analyzed OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities in a test web application. Performed SQL injection attacks to extract sensitive database information using SQLmap and manual payloads. Implemented security measures like parameterized queries and web application firewalls (WAFs) to prevent SQLi attacks. 3. Network Sniffing & Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) Attack Simulation Used Wireshark to monitor and analyze network traffic for potential vulnerabilities. Simulated a MITM attack using tools like Ettercap and ARP spoofing to intercept and manipulate data. Explored HTTPS encryption and countermeasures to secure network communications.

As a Software Development Intern, I gained hands-on experience in front-end web development, working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap to build responsive and user-friendly web applications. Throughout the internship, I enhanced my skills in UI/UX design, interactive web elements, and modern web development best practices.
