As the Project Head for Project Nawah at Enactus Dyal Singh College, I spearheaded our mission to combat plastic pollution and promote sustainability. My role involved strategic leadership, project management, and community engagement. Under my leadership, Project Nawah achieved significant milestones, including the elimination of 3600 kgs of plastic waste, leading to a 23 percent reduction in our carbon footprint. Additionally, we empowered 138 entrepreneurs to engage in sustainable businesses, contributing to both environmental conservation and economic growth. I provided strategic direction, ensuring our initiatives aligned with our organization's values. Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, I led diverse teams in executing initiatives such as bamboo product development and plastic recycling campaigns. Our strong community engagement efforts, in collaboration with local partners and schools, raised awareness about plastic pollution and sustainable alternatives. As an advocate for sustainability, I inspired individuals and businesses to embrace eco-friendly practices, fostering responsible environmental stewardship. My tenure as Project Head was characterized by dedicated leadership and a commitment to creating lasting positive change. Through transparency, reporting, and documentation, we ensured accurate impact assessment and conveyed our achievements to stakeholders and funders.
