Schwitaan Iyer

I'm currently working as a Systems Engineer Executive at Hughes India, focusing on the development of next-generation networking solutions to drive connectivity and innovation. As part of the Product Development Team, I focus on building Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technologies, collaborating closely with a dynamic team under the direct supervision of the CTO, delivering cutting-edge solutions to advance network performance and scalability.

I continued my journey at IISER Bhopal and joined as a Research & Development Engineer under Dr. Sujit P.B. in the Multi-Robot Autonomy Lab. I was involved in developing hardware architecture and setup for various projects. I was building Autonomous Surface Vehicles and Aerial Vehicles to test our algorithms.

I worked as a Research & Development Intern under Dr. Sujit P.B. in the Multi-Robot Autonomy Lab. I was working and carrying out my research in the field of Marine Robotics and my project was "Precision Docking for Autonomous Surface Vehicle".

I worked as a Summer Research Intern under Dr. Sujit P.B. in the Multi-Robot Autonomy Lab. I was working and carrying out my research in the field of Aerial Robotics and my project was "Energy Efficient Path Planning for UAVs". It was a project in collaboration with the University of Buffalo and IISER Bhopal.

I worked as a Summer Project Intern under Dr. Unmesh Govind Khati in the Department of Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Space Engineering (DAASE). I worked on the area entitled "Python for Earth Science" and my project was "Land Classification and Change Detection using Python".
