PostgreSQL is an open-source database system. It extends SQL, adding more functionality, enabling developers to create applications. It is known for its architecture, reliability and extensibility. This lab begins with helping one install PostgreSQL on Ubuntu and then introducing some basic concepts and operations supported by PostgreSQL.
