• Designed and implemented a feature to detect and ban underage users from using the Messaging feature, resulting in a 500% increase in identified cases. Utilised queues, serverless compute, and docker management services. Also provided a method to appeal in case of false positives. • Worked on a project for enhancing Group Chat(GC) Safety Strategies ‐ Suspended GC when a member gets reported by accumulating all suspensions due to all members, including previous reports or appeals. ‐ Unified DM and GC punishments for DM reports or appeals to comply with new policies. ‐ Made a workflow to detect violative GC name & encourage group members to report. Egregious violations identified in GC increased by 130%. • Resolved 2 legacy bugs in the appeal system: ‐ First bug permanently blocked Messaging access for users, impacting approximately 1500 users per month. ‐ Second bug unexpectedly change Direct Messaging ban duration when Group Chat ban is appealed. Approximately 100 such cases per month. • Added, Improved and Updated documentation for the various safety features used in Direct Message. • Did multiple KT sessions for the teammates during the bi‐weekly meetings.
