Aqsa Parveen

As a Research Intern at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences (INMAS), DRDO, I’m working at the intersection of healthcare, defense technology, and user-centered design. My role involves contributing to the development of digital systems that assist in real-time monitoring, data visualization, and healthcare decision-making. Focusing on the UI/UX design, I’ve been responsible for crafting intuitive interfaces that translate complex biomedical and sensor data into accessible, actionable formats for end users, including medical professionals and researchers. I use tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and HTML/CSS to prototype and implement user-centric dashboards and applications, ensuring a seamless experience across devices. This experience has strengthened my skills in design thinking, frontend development, and cross-functional collaboration, while deepening my understanding of how technology and design can contribute to national healthcare and defense goals.

During my summer internship at IBM, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in a dynamic and innovative work environment, collaborating closely with experienced professionals and gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies. This internship was pivotal in my professional development, providing me with invaluable insights into the corporate world and enhancing my technical skills.
